Taylor: I hope you don’t mind.. I didn’t think I needed to dress up?
Cody: It’s okay, it doesn’t matter ‘smiles’
Taylor: Well.. Mom.. Dad.. I’ll see you later?
TM: Yeah
Cody: Well lets go!
Cody and Taylor walk out the front door together
Taylor: So where we going?
Cody: Oh you know
Taylor: Haha no I don’t know
Cody: You’ll see ‘smiles’
Taylor and Cody get into his car and he drives off
Taylor: So tell me about yourself
Cody: Well im a big sports guy, I play hockey, lacrosse, basketball and I guess football now. I have a little brother, Austin. Im from Colorado and I have a beautiful girlfriend.
Taylor just looks down and smiles. Her phone rings
Taylor: Hello?
Jake: Tay im so so so so sor-
Taylor: ‘cuts him off’ Save it Jake, im done. So done
Jake: But-
Taylor hangs up
Cody: Everything okay?
Taylor: Yeah
Cody: Well don’t worry were almost there
Taylor: What are we going to do?
Cody: Like I said, you’ll see ‘smiles’

TM: relax, it’s the new boy that move in next door. There going out for dinner tonight, he’s picking her up here. You can talk to him all you want, but just don’t scare him..!
TD: Why would you think I would scare him
TM: Well because you scared Jake with all these tough questions and almost ruined it for her.
TD: oh don’t worry. I can handle this

TD: shouldn’t you be cooking dinner?
TM: ‘slaps him on his shoulder’ haha why don’t you cook for once
TD: because im the man, men don’t cook.. And because there’s a football game on..

2 hours past, the doorbell rings
Taylor: AHHHH, mom get the door! ‘she screams from her room’
Taylor’s mom starts walking to the door
TD: ‘starts getting up’ no no no, ill get it
TM: don’t scare the boy
 
TD: trust me, I got this
Taylors dad opens the door
TD: well look who it is
Cody: oh hi mr.johnson
TD: come in
Cody: is uh Taylor ready
TD: before we get to Taylor lets have a little talk

They go to the living room
TD: have a seat
TM: John.. ‘that’s the dad’s name haha’
TD: don’t worry Kate, so Cody are you a safe driver. Do drink, have any car wrecks. Have you..
TM: ‘interupts’ John!!!.. Sorry Cody, he’s a little.. What’s the word.. Overprotective
Cody: haha its fine, but yes I’m a safe driver, I don’t drink, no car wrecks. Nothing bad. I’m a good guy, I assure you.
TM: ‘smiles’ well I approve
TD: well..
TM: well?
TD: I approve ‘smiles’
Cody: ‘smiles’ thanks mr. & mrs. Johnson
TM: of course
TD: TAYLOR!
Taylor: im coming!
Cody: well she’ll be home before 9
TD: 8
TM: John how many times do I have to say your name
Cody: no problem, 8 it is haha

Hey guys.. sorry it took me a long time to post this.
i have a life, and i've been busy. some of you just don't really understand. im not trying to be mean. but people were being really mean and rude to me just cause i didn't get this posted. but here it is. enjoy. re-read chapter seven if you need a recap.
 
Cody gets a hold of Taylors hands and holds them .
They Kiss
Taylor: ‘in her head’ OH MY GODDD his lips are soft…
They pull apart
Cody: ‘smiles’ whoa.. Um..
Taylor: um what?
Cody looks down to see that they are holding hands
Cody: sorry..! ‘he lets go’
Taylor: haha no its fine.. I liked it
Cody: oh alright ha
Taylor: lets go up to my room
Cody: okay
Taylor goes and sits on her bed
Taylor: soo… are we..
Cody: are we?..
Taylor: you know..
Cody: dating?
Taylor: yeah that
Cody: well i think so.. But its not official

3 hours later, Taylors Mom gets home.

TM: well help me put these groceries away then we can talk
Taylor: on it!
Taylor grabs all the groceries and throws it all in the pantry
TM: oh my, is it really that exciting
Taylor grabs her moms hand and pulls her to the couch

Taylor: okay, bad news or good news first?!
TM: umm bad?
Taylor: ‘talks super fast’ Me and Jake brokeup….. But.. The good news is me and Cody are dating.. Hes so cute ah! And..
TM: ‘interupts taylor’ WHOA! Wait slow down tay. You and Jake.. Are done?
Taylor: yeah!
TM: oh.. well, your happy?

Taylor: mom! He was a jerk!
